About the Role
Aye is seeking an IoT Engineer who has demonstrable experience working with camera devices, video devices and edge devices to help in researching, creating, testing and monitoring IoT solutions to ensure a seamless connection between devices, sensors and software. The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and requires project site visits.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
Relevant professional certifications are added advantage
Possess knowledge or experience in working with sensors and integrating with systems
Strong fundamental knowledge of how Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence affect businesses
Knowledge of IoT open-source platforms like Netbeast, Neura, OpenSensors and Node
Experience in development of IoT solutions using programming languages such as JAVA, Python, Embedded-C, or Embedded-C++
Able to conduct API automation and testing for real-time data exchange across IoT devices
Experience in the development of high-performing, user-friendly web applications
Strong interest in creating IoT solutions for camera devices, video devices and edge devices
Well-developed written and verbal communication, able to articulate logically
Fluent oral and written English and Malay
Able to work under minimal supervision and guidance
Able to work under pressure or stress
Able to solve problems independently and able to work with a team
Creative, collaborative, & product-focused
Key Responsibilities:
Research, create, test and document IoT solutions
Design, code and test aspects of IoT devices
Provide solutions to difficulties linked to the connectivity of networks and platforms
Analyse client needs and work as service designers
Develop software that monitors and executes processes
Design platform solutions that are cloud-compatible and work with IoT applications
Develop documentation as it relates to project requirements and assist with or develop presentations of technology solutions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, make recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate
Assist corporate team to present product value
Ensure business objectives and user requirements are met to increase user engagement and retention
Deliver solutions aligned with the core values of Aye, the highest standards of quality, scientific rigor, innovation, and respect for user privacy
